Animals Know!

When I identify myself as an Animal Communicator, many people think of the "dog whisperer" who works with behaviors, or the "pet psychic" who has been born with an extra-sensory gift. I was not aware of any enhanced intuition, and my own knowledge of animal behavior was learned in school or by observation of my own animals. Until I contacted an Animal Communicator as a client years ago, I had been unaware that this was a skill that could be taught.

I entered college as a Spanish and Portuguese major, and somehow graduated with a biology degree, intending to find a place in the expanding field of research with dolphins or primates and language. Of course, the protocols were all designed around human language, and our understanding of how many words a particular species could "understand" was limited by our own preconceptions. Perhaps the foundation for my current work was established in those years, but I certainly never expected to become an Animal Communicator.

Animals have preferences while they await adoption or rescue. Many times, I have been told during a communication session that the animal was waiting for a particular person or family. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if shelters and rescue organizations were able to create a more appropriate match between the animals and the people who adopt them?

A transition ritual enables your family to say goodbye, hearing the messages your beloved companion wants you to hold in your memories. Using a combination of blessings, subdued lighting, drumming, soothing music, and anointing oils, you will release the spirit to leave when it is ready, and find comfort in the messages you will receive.

One of the most painful experiences clients endure is the loss of a treasured companion animal. Knowing what the animal wants and needs during a time of illness or impending death can relieve much of the guilt and anguish that accompanies these medical or end-of-life decisions.

Often the animal prefers to leave his or her body rather than undergo extended treatment, while the people around the animal struggle to let go.

Do you feel guilty and uncertain when they are aging or become seriously ill, and you don't know whether they prefer to undergo medical treatment or be allowed to die physically?

Animals are eager to express their needs and preferences if we ask them with open hearts and loving intentions. Animals have much to teach us about living consciously - if we simply listen.
