When she is not reading voraciously, dancing as if no one is watching, or attempting to play her junior high school violin recital pieces, she amuses herself by annoying her husband and best friend Dave and their group of rescued cats, who provide an evolving laboratory for testing her newest theories and techniques.
Why I Became an Animal Communicator
When my cat, Boo, began to suffer age-related disease, my husband and I sought the help of an animal communicator to determine what the best options were for her. As we rescued other cats, we found that communicators were able to uncover issues that helped us to understand their behaviors and relationships. Assuming that this was an inborn ability, I was surprised to discover that anyone can be trained to do it. I have been fortunate to train with some of the best animal communicators in the United States, including Penelope Smith and Carol Schultz, and the animals deserve most of the credit for expediting the process.
Why I Became a Holistic Practitioner
Trained as a scientist, I have always appreciated the technologies that enable medical practitioners to diagnose and treat disease, but the tunnel vision of traditional medicine has reused to acknowledge many ancient practices that are effective. The establishment of Integrative Medicine programs at major institutions lends credibility to holistic methods and systems that recognize the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and the remarkable ability of the body to heal despite the limits of science. Concepts such as cellular consciousness, string theory, and the harmonizing frequencies of specific words on the water that comprises a major part of the physical organism are radically changing our view of healing.
When I saw the LifeLine at a conference, it clearly integrated several areas of study I had been investigating. As a practitioner, I am able to facilitate healing and emotional well-being for people and animals, as they take responsibility for living lives of conscious intention. I understand the science that supports The LifeLine Technique, but am constantly amazed and delighted to discover its range of applications to so many situations. This is a non-invasive, content free system that complements other treatment modalities and produces life-changing results.
I am currently enrolled in a clinical aromatherapy certification program, and have incorporated the use of essential oils into my work with animals and people. The use of crystals, chakra balancing and energy release techniques provide additional levels of support to my clients. In 2013, I obtained my first certification in Akashic Records reading, and am now able to facilitate the process whereby my clients gain access to the “book of knowledge” for their soul’s history, present, and future, and can receive assistance with personal challenges in this life.
